A hidden gem on the French Riviera called Villa Cosy

A hidden gem on the French Riviera called Villa Cosy

Categoria: Nenhum
Charming Saint‑Tropez, on the French Riviera, has always lived under the spotlight. From the golden decades of French cinema to the famous parties of recent years, the destination has long been on the radar of international celebrities.

Just steps from Place des Lices and only minutes from the liveliest spots, however, lies an oasis of calm and silence. Hidden behind a discreet entrance, Villa Cosy Hôtel & Spa offers a refreshing place far from the obvious.

A hotel designed as a cozy private home

Conceived as a maison privée, this boutique hotel resembles a small village arranged around an inviting heated swimming pool, surrounded by palm trees, Mediterranean greenery, works of art, and relaxation areas. It is a harmonious blend of Provençal charm and the spirit of the Côte d’Azur.

The property features 25 apartments, suites, and villas with private terraces, creating the feeling of staying in a private residence.

All accommodations feature contemporary décor and are immersed in lush green surroundings.

“When I changed my corporate career to enter the hospitality world, I wanted to create a place that truly felt like home,” explains owner Frédéric Saveuse.

He welcomes us at the reception, where guests walk over glass flooring revealing a subterranean wine cellar and just a few secrets beyond. In addition to the hotel, Frédéric and his wife, Diane, produce exclusive wines in small quantities, with an annual production of approximately 1,200 bottles.

We had the privilege of tasting them and highly recommend not missing the experience during your stay. The Cosy Bar, exclusively for guests, also offers an extensive and carefully curated selection of drinks, chosen by those who truly understand the craft.

Upon arriving at our suite, the balcony overlooking the vineyard is simply enchanting.

It feels as if the grapes are almost inside the room — a view that will never fade from memory. We are just a few meters from the sea, yet surrounded by vines.

High ceilings and elegant décor in sober tones contrast beautifully with modern, colorful artwork.

The space is completed by an oversized wardrobe and a large bathroom equipped with both a shower and a bathtub.

Even the choice of amenities reflects refined care, featuring products from the French brand Sothys.

On the balcony, a table with chairs and two loungers invite guests to relax while taking in the Provençal landscape. For a moment, it’s easy to forget you are staying in a seaside town.

On the other side of the vineyard, a wall conceals Villa Eucleia, built by Frédéric and Diane for families seeking privacy. With seven luxurious bedrooms, a pool, parking, and gardens, this authentic 450‑square‑meter Provençal home includes full access to the hotel’s services.

Saint‑Tropez, slow‑travel style

If you’re used to rushing out of bed so you don’t miss breakfast, forget that at Villa Cosy. Here, time follows a different rhythm. Breakfast has no fixed hours and can be served in the room, on the terrace, or by the pool whenever you wish.

There is no buffet; everything is à la carte, with attentive yet almost invisible service. Some accommodations include kitchens and living areas, making in‑room dining another appealing option.

The Riviera Suite, featuring two bedrooms, a living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, is ideal for families or extended stays.

For those seeking pure relaxation, we recommend booking a massage at the Spa by Sothys, which offers a hammam, sauna, and personalized treatments.

And if you still associate the Côte d’Azur only with summer, consider visiting in spring or autumn, when temperatures are mild, crowds are fewer, and Villa Cosy remains open year‑round to welcome discerning guests who value understated exclusivity with significantly more attractive rates than during peak season.
